About the Author

A PUBLIC HISTORIAN IN PROGRESS

I love educating people in exciting ways on historic stories, stories that may be well-known, or stories that may not be so well-known. I firmly believe that everyone has the passion to learn about different events vital to human history. However, it is the manner in which these stories are told that make or break an individual's interest. That is why I seek to educate people of all ages and backgrounds on historic events.

I am currently pursuing my Masters in Public History at Indiana University-Purdue University. What is public history? I get this question a lot. Simple definition, public history deals with the employment of historians which lies outside of academia. Government, private sector, museum, and historic society positions to name a few.

My interests in the public history field lies in museums and writing. My hope is to educate and excite those who read the true stories I choose to focus on.
